India StoneMart 2026 Set to Propel Rajasthan’s Stone Industry onto the Global Stage

SHOWCASING INDIAN GRANITE EXCELLENCE

A significant milestone was achieved for the Indian stone industry as a tripartite Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) was signed for the 13th edition of India StoneMart, scheduled to be held from February 5–8, 2026 at JECC, Sitapura, Jaipur.
The MoU was signed between RIICO (Rajasthan State Industrial Development and Investment Corporation), Laghu Udyog Bharati, and the Centre for Development of Stones (CDOS).​

The official signing ceremony took place at the Rajasthan International Centre, with the presence of several dignitaries including Rajasthan's Industries and Commerce Minister Rajyavardhan Singh Rathore, Minister of State for Industries K.C. Bishnoi, CDOS Vice Chairman Rakesh Gupta, and key representatives from RIICO and Laghu Udyog Bharati.

"India StoneMart 2026 aims to provide a world-class platform for stakeholders across the stone value chain—from quarrying and processing to export and technology. The event is expected to witness participation from over 40 to 50 thousand visitors worldwide, including top industry leaders, buyers, architects, and exporters."

Global Engagement and Market Expansion

CDOS Vice Chairman Rakesh Gupta stated that preparations for the event would span nearly 20 months, ensuring comprehensive planning and execution to position the show as one of the largest of its kind globally. He stressed that India StoneMart will help Rajasthan cement its leadership in the natural stone sector by opening new market avenues.

Minister K.C. Bishnoi remarked that Rajasthan’s rich legacy in stone craftsmanship must be leveraged for international branding. “With continuous government support and collaborative efforts like this MoU, Rajasthan’s stone industry will reach new heights in terms of innovation, exports, and employment,” he noted.

Also present at the ceremony were Prakash Chand, Minister in Akhil Bharatiya Sangathan, Ghan Shyam Ojha, National President of Laghu Udyog Bharati, and Ajitabh Sharma, Principal Secretary, Industries & Commerce Department, Rajasthan.​

The MoU signing marks the beginning of an ambitious journey to elevate Rajasthan’s stone sector with a global footprint through StoneMart 2026—a flagship event that promises innovation, sustainability, and economic upliftment for thousands of small and large industry players alike.
